Purchase of Old Stone Tavern

Pittsburgh, PA (October 29, 2021) Barbara Porter, her husband Steve and their son Robert Porter have announced the purchase of the Old Stone Tavern at 434 Greentree Road. The tavern dates back to at least 1782. Because of the over-whelming and continuous support of the Pittsburgh Old Stone Tavern Friends Trust led by Norene Beatty, this purchase intends to save and restore the historic building in the West End neighborhood.
